Student Laptops & Tablets

Students are not required to bring in their own laptops, however many students enjoy the convenience of having a computer of their own.  Our classroom has several computers available for students to use on a first come, first serve basis.  Any laptop or tablet will be able to access the school WIFI, but a computer running Windows 7 or Windows 8 is recommended.  For older laptops, Windows XP Professional is recommended.  Students are responsible for maintaining and protecting their laptops.  I will help students get online and add our classroom printer, but if a bigger problem comes up, you will need to take it to a professional service center.

I will allow students to use their laptops for almost any class to look up information related to what we are discussing as long as it doesn’t distract the student from learning.  Gaming is only allowed after school when the chores are finished.  We’re using the honor system, so please don’t break the rules and lose your computer privilege!
